More information on Blood Origin
The plot revolves around a group of elves – played by Vikings actor Laurence O’Fuarain, Star Trek actress Michelle Yeoh and other actors – at the time when the so-called spherical conjunction occurred. This is not explained in detail even in the books, but it was the reason that threatening beasts now hunt people. Finally, the creation of the witchers became necessary to protect mankind.
In the mini-series Blood Origin, the six episodes should include, the makers want to shed light on just that. Since the first sorcerer was only created after the conjunction of the spheres, it is possible that again with leaps in time is worked, similar to that in season 1 of The Witcher.
The filming of the prequel series was already completed on November 21, 2021. The Witcher: Blood Origin is expected to be released on Netflix in 2022. The second season of The Witcher has been available for streaming on Netflix since December 17th.
