OPPO Watch 3 appears in three variants: we know this
OPPO is working on a third version of its smartwatch and the first information has come out. The OPPO Watch 3 appears in three variants and again a rectangular design. It will be launched together with the OPPO Band 2.
OPPO Watch 3
The launch of the OPPO Watch 3 is getting close according to the well-known Chinese rumor spreader Digital Chat Station. We don’t get a concrete launch date, but we do get information about the watch. First, OPPO will extend the battery life and the smartwatch should be available in three variants.
Furthermore, there is no concrete information about the models, but the OPPO Watch 2 may teach us something. It was released exclusively in China, but it appeared with two smaller 42 mm variants, one of which only connects via bluetooth and a second also supports 4G via eSIM. The third was a 46mm model with eSIM.
Furthermore, OPPO remains faithful to its well-known design of the Watch series, which is strongly inspired by the Apple Watch. The phone keeps its rectangular shape and gets slightly curved screen edges. The smartwatch should appear in four colors; black, silver, dark gray and light gold.
Specifications and Wear OS 3?
Nothing is known yet about the specifications of the display and we also do not know yet which chipset OPPO will use. The Watch 3 contained a Snapdragon Wear 4100, but it is now two years old. We also do not know whether the Watch 3 will appear with Wear OS, or with its own system. If it comes on the market with Wear OS 3, the OPPO Watch 3, together with this Montblanc watch, would be one of the first to use the operating system. Wear OS 3 was only available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series.
In addition to the OPPO Watch 3, the OPPO Band will receive a successor. This time, the Band 2 is equipped with NFC and it also works with an SPO2 measurement function that monitors your blood sugar level.
