OPPO introduced MagVOOC magnetic charging and air charging

The development of smartphone charging has become one of the priorities for most manufacturers, and this also applies to the Chinese company OPPO. She introduced her magnetic charging technology this week MagVOOC. In addition, it has shown wireless charging of the smartphone by air and other interesting technologies.

MagVOOC magnetic charging charges your smartphone quickly and conveniently

The OPPO MagVOOC magnetic charging consists of a wireless power bank, an ultra-thin charger and a wireless stand. The power bank uses a magnetic balancing system, which ensures precise alignment of the phone and the ultra-thin charger with a divided design, thanks to which the entire charger is thinner.

The digital car key allows the car owner to easily unlock it via Bluetooth using the OPPO smartphone. Thanks to Bluetooth, there is no need for a mobile network, which is definitely more convenient for everyday use. The remote control of the vehicle with the OPPO Find X3 or OPPO Watch 2 will allow you to turn on the air conditioning in the vehicle remotely.

If the owner has no idea where he parked his car, the watch will help him activate the trumpet remotely. Owners can also use the advanced OPPO technology for flash charging in the vehicle. It supports up to 65 W OPPO VOOC flash charging via USB and 40 W wireless VOOC flash charging while driving.

During the development, OPPO has established partnerships with many car brands, such as NIO, BYD Auto and Geely. According to OPPO, smartphones will become the control center of our vehicles in the future and more and more advanced technologies will be integrated into this ecosystem. This should increase the experience and also the comfort of using the car.

OPPO is constantly implementing its strategic commitment in the field of the Internet of Things and in broader areas related to the Internet of Experience, in order to support customers in various scenarios. With new technologies for lightning-fast magnetic charging and in-car connectivity, we do everything we can to improve the customer experience in every way.

OPPO showed charging the smartphone with air as the icing on the cake

In the end, the company showed something for the future. Oppo Air Charging technology can transfer up to 7.5 W of energy to your smartphone over short distances and at different angles, so you can continue to use it. For example, if you have such a charger built into your desk, it can comfortably play mobile games over it and the smartphone will charge comfortably in the meantime without cables or the need to place it.

This is not the first time a smartphone manufacturer has demonstrated over-the-air technology for charging a smartphone. For example, Xiaomi demonstrated its Mi Air Charge solution at the beginning of the year. Motorola unveiled its alternative to air charging in May. However, no manufacturer has yet confirmed when it will be available for commercial use.
