OnePlus will definitely not come with OnePlus 9T
We will not see a new high-end smartphone from OnePlus this year. The information we are now learning confirms that we should not expect a OnePlus 9T.
No OnePlus 9T
On Monday we wrote that OnePlus would take a new path; with OnePlus 2.0. With this new plan, it has become clear that OnePlus is merging its own OxygenOS skin with Oppo’s ColorOS, together into one new skin. The plans are therefore explained in detail in the plans. Another conclusion we can draw is about the devices.
Rumors have been circulating for some time that no OnePlus 9T would appear, but it was still hoped that a new smartphone might still come. The fact that there will be no OnePlus 9T also means that no OnePlus 9T Pro will be announced.
Since 2016, OnePlus has released a T-model of its high-end smartphone in the autumn of every year, with various improvements. A Pro model even appeared with the 7T. However, the manufacturer is now putting an end to this tradition. This will become clear when sharing the plans. The next high-end series is planned for early next year (the OnePlus 10-series) and there is no more room in the portfolio for the T models, as is clear from the photo.
