OnePlus Nord 2 will have a modified chipset. What will improve?
The fact that OnePlus is going to be the successor to the very popular OnePlus Nord is no big secret. However, it is now becoming clear that the company has signed up for the program Dimensity 5G Open Resource Architecture MediaTek, which will allow it design your Dimensity 1200 chipset a bit to your liking. OnePlus Nord 2 will thus have the Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, which can tell us what modifications OnePlus has made to the chipset.
The modification of the chipset was allegedly performed in such a way that aby the phone took better photos, improved the display and reduced response time when playing games. The cameras are said to use artificial intelligence to recognize up to 22 different scenarios and then use the best possible settings, and by the way, this also applies to night photography. The AI Video Enhancement mode then allows you to record HDR video. The chipset will also receive support for the so-called DOL-HDR, which is used, for example, by OnePlus 9. This is used to reduce ghosting in photos.
The new Smart Ambient Display then uses artificial intelligence to better reduce automatic brightness. It therefore takes into account not only the user’s surroundings, but also the content on the display itself. So it looks like we really have something to look forward to. As for the other display itself, the front side should cover 6.53 ″ AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
