OnePlus Nord 2 gets update to Android 12 with OxygenOS 12
OnePlus was once known for its lightning-fast updates, that has changed recently. Fortunately, there is now an update for the OnePlus Nord 2. It is the update to Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.
OnePlus Nord 2: Android 12 is ready
The update to Android 12 with the new skin version OxygenOS 12 is ready for a OnePlus device. The smartphone that will be offered the update is the OnePlus Nord 2. The phone had to wait a while for the update. The quick update policy that OnePlus previously had has been put on the back burner a bit in recent years, but luckily it is now the device’s turn for the new update.
With the update, there are improvements to battery life, improvements to the Always On Display, and improvements to the update policy. The update to Android 12 also brings changes to the media player and privacy permissions. For example, this gives an app access to your approximate location, rather than your exact location. The update further brings security update May 2022.
The update will be rolled out to the OnePlus Nord 2 from now on, but this will be done in phases. This means that it may take a while for everyone to receive the update.
