OnePlus Nord 2 5G is the first phone with Color OS

OnePlus and Oppo recently announced that merges its Oxygen OS and Color OS extensions. We could already see it in OnePlus 9 in China, where the phone came standard with Color OS instead of Hydrogen OS (Chinese version of Oxygen OS). And now the situation is similar with the recently introduced OnePlus Nord 2 5G.

OnePlus confirmed this in the Nord 2 Model Reviewer’s Guide, which also came to us. However, you will not find this information on the website or in other promotional materials. At first glance, however, everything remains the same and the companies decided to do so for faster updates to phones.

Did OnePlus anything about Nord2 being the first ColorOS OnePlus device with an OOS skin?

OxygenOS 11.3 so far, in our opinion, it is running on the new OnePlus phone without any problems and we personally do not see anything wrong with this decision. On the contrary, there are, for example, new customization options that we may have known from Oppo phones.
