OnePlus announces the Buds Pro 2, its new wireless headphones
In addition to the OnePlus 11, the manufacturer has announced its new Buds Pro 2 wireless headphones. The launch is currently in China, other countries will have to wait a few weeks to get them.
The new generation of the wireless earphones offers some notable improvements over the previous model, including a Dynaudio audio tuning, which should provide a more immersive listening experience. There is also an 11mm woofer and 6mm tweeters which provide enhanced sound. Each earbud is equipped with two ‘MelodyBoost’ drivers which are said to enhance vocals across a wide range of tracks and ensure that deep, rich bass is present without rumble or clutter.
Each earbud features a stem-like design reminiscent of the previous generation. However, the materials used are slightly different this time around. Each subwoofer dome is equipped with a crystalline polymer diaphragm with a separate dome and edge design. OnePlus claims that this will improve the audio performance of the Buds Pro 2, especially in the low and mid frequencies. This design improves high frequency clarity.
The price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is 899 yuan, equivalent to 123€. As said before, the launch is taking place in China first. We should know more next month for France and other countries.
