OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro will no longer receive updates; December patch is latest

OnePlus has kicked off the latest update that will be made available for the four OnePlus 7 series devices. The four models are now being offered their latest update, along with the December security update.

No more updates for OnePlus 7 series

The OnePlus 7 series will no longer receive updates. This news has been confirmed by the manufacturer. The company says that it has now started rolling out a new security update, which also improves some things. It concerns all devices from the 7 series; the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro. In May 2019, the first two mentioned models were released, the T models came to Europe in October of that year.

The four devices have all been updated up to and including Android 12. The 7 and 7 Pro came on the market with Android 9 Pie, the 7T models came with Android 10. Now that the latest update is being rolled out, OnePlus is tackling a few more things and is it will then finish the updates. This is the December security update, with some improvements, the changelog of which we have put down for you below.
