Everything you need to know about the new 49-euro ticket
The time has come: The sale of the new 49-euro ticket, officially Deutschlandticket, will start on April 3rd. However, the ticket is only valid from May 1st and will be available on a monthly basis. Important: The ticket, which is supposed to be a kind of flat rate for local public transport, cannot be used beyond the end of the month. In addition to the Deutschlandticket, an official photo ID is required for identification during ticket checks.
The ticket is valid in all transport associations and throughout Germany on Deutsche Bahn rail services and only in second class. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to book an upgrade to first class.
And that’s not the only catch: trips with ICE, IC, EC and other DB long-distance trains, individual private bus services as well as the museum and private railways and Flixbus and Flixtrain in general are excluded. If you want to take your bike with you, you have to pay extra for it. Children from the age of six and other accompanying persons need their own ticket. Is Lamborghini changing its strategy now? No, says CEO Stephan Winkelmann. Because the planned exception for cars with e-fuels is no reason for Lamborghini to deviate from the previous course. The EU wants to take time until autumn 2024 to work out the framework conditions for e-fuels in concrete terms. This is not a problem for Lamborghini anyway: New models for the year 2032 and beyond will not be developed before 2027, said Winkelmann.
The Lamborghini boss was otherwise very cautious when it came to e-fuels and pointed out that sales are not just about Europe. Only about a third of the cars are sold here. E-fuels are also not suitable for the mass market because they are too expensive, not available enough and too loud. In addition, although e-fuels could be CO2-neutral, that does not mean that they do not produce any emissions at all.
It’s been rumored for some time that the big three – Sony, Xbox and Nintendo – won’t be at E3 2023. Now the renowned video and computer game fair has finally been canceled after several cancellations by console manufacturers and publishers. E3, the event that was planned for June in Los Angeles, was canceled without replacement due to a lack of commitment from the exhibitors, but at this point it is not yet known whether it will take place in 2024.
“We had to do what was right for the industry and what was right for E3,” said Kyle Marsden-Kish, global VP of gaming at event organizer Reedpop. “For those who have confirmed their attendance at E3 2023, we are sorry that we cannot give them the show they deserve and have come to expect from Reedpop events.”
This service should make stressed web workers particularly happy: An Icelandic website lets horses write out-of-office messages for e-mails. This is indeed a funny offer, but by no means a joke, the Icelandic tourism agency assured on the associated site.
True to the motto “OutHorse your e-mails”, anyone who still wants to answer their e-mails after work or on vacation can now simply “outhorse” this job and transfer it to a horse of their choice. in one Video show the creative minds behind the campaign how the horses “type” the corresponding absence notes on an oversized keyboard.
Now all you have to do is choose a horse. You can choose, for example, the “little star of Hvitarholt”, which writes very quickly but might take a nap.
