Official: Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be announced on January 14th

The rumor had already been confirmed several times, but now Samsung itself confirms it: the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be unveiled on January 14. We then get to see all the details of the Samsung Galaxy S21, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Unpacked

Samsung calls the launch events for its top phones Unpacked and that is also the case this year. The Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra 5G will be announced via live stream on Galaxy Unpacked on January 14 at 4 p.m. In the image above and in the video at the bottom of this article, you will find the invitation from Samsung.

Samsung gives the event the motto “Welcome to everyday epic”, referring to the current trend of working from home and being more at home. Due to the corona pandemic, mobile technology has become central to everyday life in the past year, Samsung said. This results in people who work remotely and spend more time at home. The accelerated transition to a mobile-centered world is generating a need for devices that can turn everyday life into an “extraordinary experience.” The Samsung Galaxy S21 series will therefore have to live up to this extraordinary experience.

Striking camera module

The invitations showcase the Galaxy S21’s eye-catching camera module. That module has been designed differently from previous years. You can see what this will look like here. In terms of specifications, there will not be much new to reveal this year either. We were already shown prices and the specifications are also known. It was also recently announced that the digital assistant Bixby on the S21 series may disappear from the home screen and there are also hands-on videos and real-life photos of the devices. It was recently announced here at Androidworld that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the phone you are most looking forward to in 2021.

In the Netherlands and Belgium, the phones will probably come on the market for EUR 849 (Samsung Galaxy S21 5G), EUR 1049 (Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus 5G) and EUR 1349 (Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G).
