Now you can really get rid of Facebook!

Many people quit Facebook, but keep their account. This will change and then you can really leave the platform completely with peace of mind.

Every social media platform goes through different phases. Facebook is in an ‘adult phase’. The platform has grown enormously in recent years, but especially for the youth it has been overtaken by other platforms. So many users choose to get rid of Facebook, but because of this, they lose all the valuable content they have put on it. This threshold is now a thing of the past.

Off Facebook

So you can now get off the platform without losing all your content. The company announces that this possibility exists via a blog post. They have been working on this new feature for the past few months. With this tool you can easily transfer your own data to another service. Road threshold, so transfer.

The feature supports two new services. These are Photobucket and Google Calendar. So it is possible to transfer all your photos from Facebook to Photobucket. The Google Calendar allows you to transfer your Facebook events. The tool already supports Google Photos, Google Docs, Blogger, Backblaze B2, WordPress, Koofr, and Dropbox.

In addition to the options described above, you can now also transfer everything in an easier way. It is easier to see which type of data and which services are supported. You can even transfer multiple types of data to one service at the same time. It is also possible to use new filter options and you can view the status of the transfer. Apple is always very protective. It is therefore not (yet) possible to export your data from Facebook to iCloud.

The tool called Transfer Your Information is currently being rolled out.
