Nokia rolls out Android 13 for Nokia G50 and XR20

Two smartphones from HMD Global are now being updated with an update to Android 13. We see the update to the latest Android version arriving on the Nokia G50 and the Nokia XR20.

Nokia has only rolled out the update to Android 13 for the X10 and the Nokia X20. Two devices are now being added, according to our readers. For example, Jan tells us that his Nokia G50 can receive the update to Android 13 for his smartphone. This means that after installing the update you will have access to a range of new features and capabilities. The 2.26GB update not only brings the new features of Android 13, but also includes the November security update.

The update to Android 13 is also ready for the Nokia XR20, the robust smartphone from the Finnish manufacturer. After the update you will have access to more color options for the Material You design and you will also gain more insight into the privacy and security of your device. Google has continued to work on a new media player and various (performance) improvements. Another option you get is the option to set per app in which language you want to use it. For example, you can use WhatsApp in Dutch and Facebook in Spanish, if you wish.

Android 13 is now rolling out for the two smartphones. You will be notified by means of a notification whether you can download the update.
