Nintendo Switch Sports: update 1.2.1 removed after several crashes
The game Nintendo Switch Sports recently got the 1.2.1 update, but this is causing more problems than anything else, to the point of causing crashes. Nintendo has therefore decided to remove it to see what is stuck.
The 1.2.1 update of Nintendo Switch Sports saw the light of day this week and many players have noticed the inability to play since its installation. A crash occurs when loading the title. This impacted not only online play, but also offline modes.
Nintendo began to take action to deal with the situation. The group has done maintenance to explore the issue and temporarily halted online matches as well as cloud saves. But that wasn’t enough, so much so that the company decided to pull the update. Players will still get a message telling them that an update is available, but the update won’t actually be able to be downloaded. To see if the group will offer a corrected version 1.2.1 or if it will directly offer a version 1.2.2.
The main focus of the 1.2.1 update was to combat cheaters. In the notes, Nintendo said it would suspend online play for those who violate its community guidelines in various ways, such as tampering with save data.
