Next racing hit becomes a film – fans love the first trailer

The film has been in the making for around ten years and its release is fast approaching. In a first trailer you can now get an impression of the upcoming production, which is based on the popular Gran Turismo game series.

Planning for the upcoming film began back in 2013, but due to numerous director and scriptwriter changes, the production has only started a little while ago picked up full speed. Full speed is the right keyword, because this film will probably be fast.

As the first released trailer shows, the production is based on the GT Academy competition, which took place between 2008 and 2016 by Nissan and Sony was carried out. This was not only an experience for countless fans and spectators, as the winners of the tournament were able to secure a place in Nissan’s driver development program.

One of the GT Academy’s most impressive success stories is the UK one, according to site VGC Racing driver Jann Mardenboroughwhich won in 2011 and has since been part of the GP3 Series, the Le Mans 24 Hours and the Japanese Super GT Series.

Filming of the GT film started in Hungary in November 2022 and was already completed in December. Currently the material is in post-production.
