New on HBO Max in August
According to Nieuw this Week, HBO Max has a number of major highlights in August. There’s the Westworld season finale, and House of the Dragon a week after that, and that has to be one of the absolute highlights of this year. You can find the trailer below.

You can also watch new episodes of The Rehearsal this month and all seasons of the American version of The Office. For movie buffs, this month’s HBO Max will feature Long Shot, The Shallows and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
New on Netflix in August
A number of big classics are coming to Netflix in August, such as Top Gun and The Mummy. In addition, two new documentaries and four new original series are coming to the streaming service.

In the series category you can watch The Sandman and Onder Vuur. According to Nieuw this Week, The Sandman promises to be a spectacle. The trailer has been viewed millions of times and expectations are sky high. Check out the trailer for yourself below.
New on Videoland in August
In August we can enjoy new reality television on Videoland, including Love Island UK. A special season of Married at First Sight: Match or Mistake is also coming to Videoland, and you’ll get a unique insight into the life of Ronnie: De Familie Flex. You will also rock through the summer with The Rolling Stones: My Life As A Rolling Stone.

You can also laugh enough with the new films and series on Videoland. In August you can watch the entire Hangover trilogy, Bad Boys, Men in Black and Men in Black II. You can also laugh with the new series The Artists Formerly Known As Llamas (TAFKAL) who pull off the most hilarious improvisations.
New on Prime Video in August
Movies, series and documentaries, in August there will be plenty to watch on Prime Video. There is the documentary series All or Nothing about the football club Arsenal, and Thirteen Lives. This documentary tells the true story of the worldwide rescue of a Thai football team.

In terms of series, you can watch A League of Their Own. It’s an eight-part series about a generation of women who dream of becoming a professional baseball player. In terms of movies, there is Samaritan. Most believe that Samaritan (Sylvester Stallone) was killed in the fire, but some in town, like Sam, have hope that he is still alive. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam makes it his mission to lure his neighbor out of hiding and save the city from destruction.
Finally, there is season three of the fashion competition series Making the Cut, presented and produced by Heidi Klum and Tim Gun.
