New Nintendo 64 game: The Spy Who Loved Me

The Spy Who Loved Me is a mod on the classic GoldenEye 007 created by James Bond fans.

You can of course play the latest games on your PC, Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5. But playing a classic also has its charms. And what if you take a classic game and turn it into something completely new? That is exactly the case with the Nintendo 64 game GoldenEye 007.

Fans of James Bond grabbed this game and made a mod. The mod is a completely new game called The Spy Who Loved Me. The film starring Roger Moore has been given its own game for the first time. The story of the film is incorporated into the game.

The mod can be played in 4k at 60 frames per second via an emulator. If you own a Nintendo 64 you can also play the mod on the console. YouTuber Graslu00 has uploaded a video where you can see the game in action. Admittedly, that does look very greasy.

Fans of The Spy Who Loved Me will definitely recognize the iconic scenes from the movie in the mod. Even if you don’t plan on playing the mod, it’s worth checking out the video.
