Two new models from Motorola have surfaced in the rumor circuit. Where we previously saw the Motorola Edge 30 Pro in an announcement. We now also see the Motorola Edge 30 and the Moto G 5G (2022).
Motorola Edge 30 and Moto G 5G (2022)
Motorola’s Edge and G series will soon be expanded further. The smartphones are shared by Evleaks; a source that is more likely to share information at an early stage. So to start with, there is the expansion for the Edge series. Earlier we were already shown the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. That device is now also available in the Netherlands. We didn’t get to see a ‘regular’ model at the announcement, but reportedly that should change soon.
Motorola Edge 30
The Motorola Edge 30 gets a 6.55-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, along with a 144Hz high refresh rate. A Snapdragon 778G chipset from Qualcomm is expected for the device, along with 6/8GB of RAM. The phone also gets a storage space of 128/256GB from the manufacturer. The battery is not too big on paper; 4020mAh. But with the necessary optimizations, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the phone has bad battery life. Charging is done with 30 watts.
We can expect twice a 50 megapixel lens, for the main and wide-angle lens. In addition, Motorola has a 2 megapixel camera in mind for depth. The selfie cam gets 32 megapixels. The device should be announced this month.
Moto G 5G (2022)
Another model circulating in the rumor circuit is the Motorola Moto G 5G (2022). This device comes with a 6.53 inch HD+ display. This provides a refresh rate of 90Hz. We also see a Dimensity 700 chipset from MediaTek and there is 4/6GB RAM and at least 64GB memory. The camera gets a 50MP main lens, 2MP macro and 2MP depth lens. The selfie camera comes in at 13 megapixels and there is a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging.
