Anyone who owns AirPods and an Apple Watch can now look forward to a convenient way of making everyday life easier. Accessory manufacturer Satechi has presented a clever charger with which both devices can be charged. A question mark remains, however.

Apple Watch

Satechi has become a fixture in the accessory maker for Apple. After the company recently presented a smart charging solution for iPhone, iPad and AirPods, they are now dedicating themselves to the Apple Watch – but with a proverbial twist.

Satechi introduces charger for Apple Watch and AirPods

A new wireless charger should bring order to the chaos and supply both Apple Watch and AirPods with juice again. A charging cradle for the smartwatch is installed on one side, and the counterpart for the in-ear headphones from Apple on the other. The charger itself receives its power via the integrated USB-C connector. In a video, Satechi shows how the new multi-charger for Apple Watch and AirPods works:

The compact size of Satechi’s charging solution is particularly noteworthy. This could make the device the ideal companion for business people, students or other Apple users who are often and long on the go. The charger does not take up a lot of space in a briefcase or backpack. Thanks to the USB-C connector, the charger also works with MacBooks, current iPad Pro models or the iPad Air 4.

Exclusive distribution through Apple’s online shop

According to The Verge Satechi’s multifunctional charger for Apple Watch and AirPods is to be sold exclusively through Apple’s own online shop. In the US, the charger is available for $ 49.95, which is the equivalent of around 41 euros. It is not yet known whether and when Satechi and Apple will also be offering the practical everyday helper in Germany. If you don’t want to wait and are only looking for a cheap alternative to the original magnetic charging dock of the Apple Watch, you can also find it recently at Anker.
