Spotify Plus is being tested

A new subscription form of Spotify is being tested by the music service. The company has confirmed that it is being tested with the ‘Spotify Plus’ subscription. This new subscription form costs $1.00 per month and has a number of improvements compared to the free subscription. It can be seen as a combination between the free and the paid subscription.

The ads that you have in the free version, you also have in this subscription version. Spotify Plus allows users to skip tracks infinitely. With Spotify Free, there is a limit on this. Another advantage with Plus is that you can choose which track or playlist you listen to. With the free version (on mobile) you are limited to this; because then you will only be shuffled between the music in a playlist.

It is currently unknown whether Spotify Plus will be definitively added to the offer. For now, it is only clear that the company is testing with this variant. and will collect the feedback on this to further improve the service. The test is not for everyone, but for a selected group of users.
