Netflix will support Spatial Audio from AirPods Pro and Max
Netflix would work hard to support Spatial Audio: Apple’s new audio feature that lets you get surround sound with the AirPods Pro and Max.

‘Netflix is working on Spatial Audio support’
That writes iPhoneSoft based on insiders. Netflix has been testing Spatial Audio (or Spatial Audio as it is called in the Netherlands) since December.
It probably won’t be a whole lot of work for Netflix to add the feature. The streaming service already supports several forms of surround sound. Netflix is also not the first service to use Apple’s audio technology: Apple TV Plus and Disney Plus now also support it.
According to iPhoneSoft’s sources, Netflix would roll out the feature gradually. This starts with a limited range of films and series that work with the function, after which this range is continuously expanded. It is not yet clear when we can expect this.
Spatial Audio: Apple’s own surround sound
With Spatial Audio, Apple has added its own version of surround sound to the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. As soon as you activate the function in the settings, it seems as if you are ‘in between’ the sound, and you can hear the different instruments around you. Even when you move your head and device, the virtual sound stays in place.
