Motorola Nio pops up; with 105Hz display and Snapdragon 865 processor ‘

It looks like Motorola is working on a new high-end smartphone. The manufacturer uses the code name Nio for this. What can we expect from the new device?

Motorola Nio on the way

Clues have been found for a new Motorola smartphone. Given the specifications, it seems to be a high-end smartphone, but a name is still unknown. Maybe it is an extension for the Motorola Edge family, we could imagine. For now only the code name under which the device will proceed is known; Nio.

The device gets a 105Hz screen, and that is a refresh rate that we have not seen before. Perhaps it is an adaptive screen with which it can adapt itself, or it is overclocked as a test and in the final model it is reset to 90Hz, which is unclear. The Motorola screen is 6.7 inches and has a Full HD + resolution.

The Nio will receive a Snapdragon 865 chipset and would be assisted by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. Motorola would also consider releasing a version with 12GB RAM and 256GB memory. There is talk of a triple camera with 64MP main sensor, 16MP wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. At the front is a 16MP front camera.

For now we also know that the device should be released in the first quarter of 2021. This happens immediately with Android 11. All further details about the smartphone are still missing. We have no doubt that more will be announced in the coming weeks.
