‘Motorola Edge 20 flagship coming July 29, here are the renders’

Motorola is going to present its new Edge top device on July 29. The brand is already teasing an event on that date, and renders and backgrounds of the Motorola Edge 20 have also surfaced. We discuss what we already know about the smartphone.

Motorola Edge 20

Motorola is going to announce new phones on July 29, because the brand is already teasing an upcoming event in a Facebook video that will take place next week on July 29. That video doesn’t hide anything, but information has been leaked by the reliable rumor spreader OnLeaks. Motorola has three devices in store for us: a Motorola Edge 20 Lite, a Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Pro.

We already get to see renders and specifications of the regular Motorola 20. The phone will have a 6.7-inch screen that has a Full HD resolution and a high 120 Hz refresh rate. We see a screen notch in the middle, but there are also clear edges visible at the top and bottom. Only one speaker is visible and it is located at the bottom right. The power button serves as a fingerprint scanner.

The phone will work with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G, which is a processor for higher-mid-range phones. Motorola may only equip the Pro version with a high-end chipset. The device will run with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The battery is a 4000 mAh one.

108MP main camera

If we then look at the camera setup at the back, we see three camera lenses and a camera island that is reminiscent of the OnePlus 9 series. The smartphone comes with a 108 MP main camera, followed by a second 16 MP camera and an 8 MP one.

In addition to the renders and specifications, the backgrounds of the phone have also been leaked, XDA Developers know. You can download them here from Google Drive.
