“Mein Bank” promises the highest overnight interest rates
Raiffeisenbank Hochtaunus is currently attracting customers with overnight interest rates of 3.55 percent via its online brand “Meine Bank”. However, the offer is only valid for new customers and has a term of six months.
Raiffeisenbank Hochtaunus made headlines when it announced in autumn 2022 that it wanted to close all branches. As of December 1, 2022, the company also stamped its in-house cash service. However, customers still have the option of withdrawing cash from other ATMs.
Raiffeisenbank Hochtaunus: 3.55 percent overnight interest at Meine Bank
Since changing its business model, Raiffeisenbank Hochtaunus has focused on its online brand “Meine Bank” – and is now making headlines again. Because the small bank from the district of Hochtaunus has increased its overnight interest rates from 3.2 to 3.55 percent.
This means that “Meine Bank” is currently offering the highest overnight interest rates in Germany – as of June 26, 2023. According to official information However, the offer is only valid for new customers and for a period of six months. A standard interest rate of currently 1.5 percent for existing customers then applies.
2.5 percent interest from 100,000 euros
The maximum deposit for new customer interest of 3.55 percent is 100,000 euros. Apparently there is no minimum deposit. The 1.5 percent call money interest for existing customers, in turn, applies to a maximum deposit of up to one million euros. The bottom line is that interest is around 2.5 percent per year.
New customers who want to invest between EUR 100,000 and EUR 1 million receive a stake of 2.5 percent for the first six months. Interest is credited annually in all cases and the offer can only be completed online.
