I suddenly feel like a hamburger with fries. How could that be? In Australia, McDonald’s has entered into a partnership with PlayStation. The result is a limited edition McDonald’s PS5 controller. No, unfortunately the fast food brand does not give these away with a Happy Meal.

Australian residents can win the controller in a giveaway on Twitch in August. The winning Australians get to jump in the air when they have won. This is a limited controller, which you might even see as an interesting investment.

The reason that the fast food chain comes with this promotion is no coincidence. McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in Australia this year. The McDonald’s DualSense PS5 controller consists of the typical white and red color of the Mac. A hamburger is depicted at the bottom right and a portion of fries on the left. The yellow buttons complete it.

The advice is not to eat McDonald’s when you are playing with this controller. Fatty food and a controller never go well together. It results in a filthy controller and that doesn’t make anyone happy. Whether McDonald’s also comes with such a promotion outside Australia? Unfortunately, we think the chance is small.
