Marshall’s new Bluetooth speaker is stunningly beautiful
Anyone who buys Marshall headphones and speakers probably does so because of the iconic design of the products. The new Middleton is no exception. We present the Bluetooth box with technical data and price in detail.
Marshall Middleton introduced: Bluetooth speakers with a retro design
You have to give Marshall speakers one thing: They pull the guitar amp-inspired thing retro look tough through. This consistency in product design ensures a high level of recognition. The cuboid housing, the characteristic protective grille, the raised brand logo: the Marshall speakers together form an extremely chic looking family that has rightly won many fans.
The new Marshall Middleton With a width of 23 centimeters and a weight of 1.8 kg, it is no longer tiny, but it is still in the category of portable speakers that can be easily stowed in a bag or backpack. In terms of price, the Middleton is with 299 euros (RRP) already in the upper segment. Within the brand’s range, it sits above the small models like the Emberton 2 (160 euros, see it on Amazon). Above the Middleton there are really large boxes like the Tufton (370 euros, see Saturn).
A special feature is the 360 degree sound, which Marshall describes as “space-filling.” Such formulations are of course to be taken with a pinch of salt in view of the type of device – but at least the manufacturer has not saved on components for the implementation of this announcement. It is a “quad speaker” with 2 tweeters, 2 bass drivers (3 inches) and 2 passive radiators. A small button is used for settings and operation Joystick on top (“Multidirectional rotary knob”) – otherwise there’s also the cell phone app “Marshall Bluetooth” (Android and iOS).
