A new application from a Dutch developer has been released in the Google Play Store (and iOS App Store). Yoram has released the Videotape application, which allows you to make a group video without having to be together. Think of conveying a congratulations to an entire group of friends, or just putting a heart to someone when things are not going so well. You make a joint video message with Videotape, and you can arrange that in a few clicks. You don’t have to be technical for this, because editing and difficult hassle is not involved.

Anyone with a smartphone – or tablet – can use Videotape to send a special message. It’s something different than sending an app, plus you can do it with your colleagues, friends or family. In the Videotape app you create a project, where you can invite others to record their video as well. You can spice up your video with styles such as opening and closing titles. You can also add colors and logos and it is possible to place background music behind your video.

Biggest Valentine’s Wish in the Netherlands

The launch of Videotape is being launched with a big mega video, in the context of Valentine’s Day. You can participate, record your video and add the clip via the website of ‘The greatest wish’. It may just be that it will be shown on February 12 in the Hoog Catharijne shopping center in Utrecht or on February 13 in the Alexandrium, Rotterdam. The end result will also be put online on the site on 14 February.
