LG Velvet is updating to new July update
LG may have stopped its smartphone branch; updates would continue according to the manufacturer. Now there’s good news for those who own an LG Velvet. The smartphone gets a new update.
July update for LG Velvet
The LG Velvet will be offered a new update, Bert tells DroidApp. According to Bert, the device feels better and faster than ever before. It is not really clear from the changelog which improvements LG has added. It is clear that the July 2021 security update will be included with the phone. The update with version V20g-JUL-05-2021 has a size of 200.21MB.
LG will, if it keeps to its word, will continue to roll out updates for the LG Velvet for the time being. In a previously released schedule, the LG Velvet is mentioned in the overview of devices that are updated with both Android 12 and Android 13. It is hoped that this also applies to Dutch users, but the prospects are quite favorable.
