Unbreakable: the legendary Nokia 6310 phone. Now the Nokia 6310 is back and it’s even better.

The Nokia 6310 is a legend. You could use the phone for days without having to charge it. It was also almost impossible to break, which is why many people had this device. It has been almost twenty years since this Nokia was launched. Now HMD Global, which is the company that now owns Nokia, has made a remake of the Nokia 6310.

Nokia 6310 is back

Nokia has already made several remakes. As usual, the company comes with a cheap, small and simple phone that kind of looks like the original. The phone has been modified and modernized to be more usable today.

You cannot compare the ‘new’ Nokia with the current smartphones. The 6310 has a 2.8-inch screen with rounded edges, a numeric keypad, 8 MB of RAM, 16 MB of storage, a 0.3-megapixel rear camera and FM radio. The biggest advantage then, but also now, is the battery of 1150 mAh. You can use this for a really long time, just like the original version.

Design

The Nokia 6310 is back, but not like twenty years ago. The device used to have a tricolor look. You even had a combination with light gray, dark gray and gold. This one had a chic look. The new Nokia unfortunately does not have this color combo, the device is now available in yellow, black and dark green. The shape and buttons are also different.

Nokia is working hard to somehow revive its famous phones. Can they really compete in Europe with today’s smartphones? No, of course not. But apparently there is a (modest) market for it. By the way, the new 6310 also has the game Snake!
