launch from August 2021, no delay at Samsung

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 release date is getting clearer. According to a Samsung supplier, the foldable smartphone should be on sale in August or even September 2021. This corresponds to the old Galaxy Note commercial window that the Korean firm could abandon this year in favor of Folds.

Designing a product as complex as a smartphone requires a lot of resources from all brands. Even if some are able to produce several components in-house, none is able to do without certain suppliers. Suppliers who are, to a certain extent, aware of upcoming products, since their spare parts will equip them. Samsung, one of the world’s largest component manufacturers, is no exception to this rule.

Samsung supplier reveals Galaxy Z Fold 3 launch period

And that’s what happened this week. S-Connect is a Korean company, listed on the Seoul Stock Exchange. For Samsung, S-Connect is working in particular on certain components intended to the hinges of foldable smartphones of the brand. It recently announced to its shareholders that it is working on two more products: the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3, whose prices were recently leaked.

According to information communicated by S-Connect, Samsung should start marketing the Galaxy Z Fold 3 either in August 2021 or the following month. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also expected to launch during this time. It is interesting to note that this period corresponded, in previous years, to the Galaxy Note launch window. Rumor has it that Samsung could skip the 2021 Note for lack of components.
