Katy didn’t think she would return to work that soon, but there was no other way. “So intense”, the singer admits. “Giving birth, going back to work, breastfeeding: I really thought ‘holy shit’, that’s what women do!” Now that she has a child of her own and realizes how spicy this can be at times, she thinks mothers are the most powerful creatures on Earth. “It’s incredible what our body can do.”

It is not the first time that Katy has been so candid about motherhood: five days after the birth of her daughter, she shared a photo on Instagram Stories in which she is only dressed in underwear. “Hair and makeup done from exhaustion,” she joked.
