Joe Rogan’s podcast loses spot 1 on Spotify

Joe Rogan has lost his #1 on spotify to a completely different podcast. Read here which one that is.

Spotify is the place to listen to podcasts. The platform of Swedish origin makes it possible to listen to music, or podcasts, for example, in the form of streaming via the internet. For a long time, Joe Rogan was the absolute champion of podcasts in terms of listener numbers. That has now changed.

Rogan loses place 1 on Spotify

Rogan’s show is called The Joe Rogan Experience and has now been dethroned. There is a new top podcast that has even more listeners, which is Batman Unburied. According to Spotify’s The Podcast Charts, this podcast is now number one. Remarkable, because Rogan has been in the top position for a long time. This is partly because he signed a deal with Spotify in 2021 to make his podcast exclusive to this platform.

He got $200 million for this. In his podcast, he doesn’t mince words and often deals with controversial topics. Think of the treatment of corona or the use of the N-word.

Batman Unburied

This podcast has two episodes. Batman Unburied is a fictional story about Bruce Wayne. Here he is not the person we all know from the movies, for example. Here he plays a forensic pathologist who works on the victims of a serial killer known as The Harvester. There are other changes in the story, but we won’t reveal them. Listen to the podcast here.

There’s a good chance that Rogan will be back on top soon, when Batman Unburied is no longer “trending” and is the new thing about it. This while of course Rogan continues to publish new podcasts.
