Jamie Lee Curtis will star in Borderlands -apkrig

American actress Jamie Lee Curtis, whom you may know from the movies Halloween, True Lies or Between Us Girls, will star in the Hollywood adaptation of Borderlands. Collider magazine was the first to bring the information, with Dr. Archie Patricia Tannis taking over. The director of the film Eli Roth (Hostel, Wishes of Death) revealed that working with Jamie Lee Curtis is a fulfillment of his life dream.

The information was shared on their official Twitter by the original authors of the game from the Gearbox studio. Jamie Lee Curtis herself stated in her private account that she is already looking forward to filming. And there is no need to suspect her at all that this was done only out of courtesy. In the past, she participated in the dubbing of The Tuttles: Madcap Misadventures, but above all she pays for a surprising fan of video games.

In previous years, she incognito participated in various game events disguised as popular characters. She visited BlizzCon or the EVO tournament. There is no doubt that it is close to digital culture and its performance could be even more appropriate.

The film adaptation of the game series Borderlands from Gearbox is to start filming soon in Hungary. As we wrote before, it was first announced in 2015, but its pre-production did not start in full until the beginning of last year. The screenplay was written by Craig Mazin and Aaron Berg. Although Craig Mazin started with the comedy series Scary Movie, he became famous for his screenplay for the successful series Chernobyl.

Jamie Lee Curtis is not the only star in the film. He will appear alongside Cate Blanchett as Lilith and Kevin Hart as Roland. The involvement of Roth and Cate Blanchett was also praised by Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford. He appears in the film as an executive producer. Unfortunately, it is not clear when the film will premiere and we do not know the details of the story.
