Apple caused laughter in some places with its Magic Mouse. Huawei is now showing that things can also be much easier. The new Wireless Mouse GT relies on Qi charging – and of course the mouse can also be used while charging.

Apple is actually always known for the sophisticated design of its products. But with the Magic Mouse you have clearly missed: In order to be able to supply the wireless mouse with power, a corresponding charging cable must be connected. For some incomprehensible reason, however, the charging plug is on the underside of the Magic Mouse. Customers therefore have the choice of using the mouse or charging it.

Wireless Mouse GT: Huawei’s mouse charges inductively

The battered manufacturer wants to attack Huawei with its own mouse shortly. Here you have now fortunately not oriented towards Apple. Instead, the Wireless Mouse GT is wirelessly powered by a suitable mouse pad. Here one relies on the common Qi standard for wireless power transmission. It is the first mouse from Huawei.

Even before the official presentation, some details about the Wireless Mouse GT are available. In addition to wireless charging, the mouse can also be supplied with power via USB-C. Do customers choose that Wireless charging pad, then a transmission of 5 watts is possible (source: WinFuture).

Wireless Mouse GT for gamers

With the Wireless Mouse GT, Huawei is primarily focusing on gamers. There is also matching RGB lighting. The scroll wheel is also apparently illuminated. The mouse has six buttons that are safe can be assigned individually. The Wireless Mouse GT is unlikely to be a real bargain. Currently, a price of around 80 euros can be assumed. Huawei has not yet announced a date for publication.
