Is this what Nothing Phone (2) will cost in Europe?

Nothing Phone (2) is coming and it is expected that the device of the fairly young Nothing will appear on July 11. It promises to be another eye-catching gadget, just like the first with its transparent back and LEDs. But, what can we expect in terms of damage to our wallet?

NothingPhone (2)

Nothing Phone (2) would cost 729 euros in Europe, according to an article on Phone Arena. But that’s not all, because there would also be a somewhat more expensive variant of 849 euros. It is a significant increase in price, because the Nothing Phone (1) was available for next to nothing: 469 euros.

Is OnePlus founder Carl Pei’s company doing a Primark? Start very cheaply and once you have a large number of fans, raise the prices, or does this second device really bring a lot of premium options that the first device does not have? In any case, the processor is a lot better: the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor has been chosen, which is very good for a phone in that price category (only the Gen 2 is better). Furthermore, we have no news yet about other features that this phone would have that explain that price increase.

Small price increase

It is of course unknown whether the price is correct. In any case, there will be two variants of the device. One with 512 GB storage memory and one with 256 GB storage memory. It is not yet known whether there are any further differences and whether one will be called ‘Pro’, for example: it does not appear to be so for the time being.

Do we already know much more? Not really: the devices seem to be announced on July 11: only then will we know for sure what the European price will be.
