iPod click wheel is back and works with Apple Music & Spotify!

A nice case of nostalgia, with the return of the iPod click wheel. The good news is that it works with Spotify and Apple Music.

It is sometimes quite funny to get back to work with things from the past. Think of an old game, or an old phone from 15 years ago. In this case you can get started virtually with the iPod click wheel. Apple’s iconic design was the bomb before the touchscreen came along.

Now you can relive the iPod click wheel in combination with Apple Music and Spotify. That’s thanks to some work software developer Tanner Villarete has done. He has devised a web application, where you can use the iPod as a music player with today’s music services. That makes it more than a gimmick to use just once.

The application is free to use and works on both mobile and desktop. The nice thing about mobile is that you can actually use your finger to get that feeling of yesteryear.
