iPhone 14 Pro: production would still not be at the level of demand (by far…)
Whether Apple (According to rumours) would have already anticipated a drop in demand for theiPhone 14 Pro by the first quarter, the current reality is still far from these forecasts. The analyst David Vogt of the investment bank UBS has thus identified the delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro/14 Pro Max and the harvest has been particularly enlightening. In the United States, for example, the waiting time for the two iPhone models has gone from 5 to 25 days after ordering. The calculation of the sale rate would also be final. The sales rate measures the amount of inventory sold within a given time period compared to the amount of inventory received during the same period. This helps estimate how quickly a business can sell its inventory and collect revenue. This sales rate would have increased by 3% in September.
The observation would be identical in China, with waiting times of 24 days for the Pro model (to be compared, however, to the 39 days of waiting for the iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max in 2021). Still according to Vogt, Apple will have produced 86 million iPhones in Q4, but the analyst believes that the Cupertino company may produce a little less depending on the circumstances.
