iPhone 13 gets bigger battery and faster 5G internet
The iPhone 13 series will get bigger batteries and faster 5G internet, according to a new rumor. The prices also remain almost the same as the prices of the iPhone 12 series.

Rumor: iPhone 13 lasts longer due to larger battery
The iPhone 13 will have a larger battery than the iPhone 12. That reports trend force, a source who has been correct in many rumors in the past. Apple makes the batteries bigger thanks to a change to the internal design. This leaves more room for a larger battery.
In addition to a larger battery, the iPhone 13 will receive a brand new A15 chip with a 5 nanometer structure. This is faster and more energy efficient than its predecessor, the A14 Bionic. By means of a larger battery and less power consumption, Apple is compensating for a new 120 Hz screen on the Pro models. This type of screen actually needs more energy to work.
Faster 5G Internet
Apple’s next iPhone gets according to trend force support for ‘millimeter wave’ 5G in more countries. Previously, only US users benefited from this. MmWave 5G is on a wave spectrum that is virtually unused by other technology. This makes it work much faster.
It is unknown whether this fast 5G internet will also be available on the Dutch iPhone 13. Shortly after the release of the smartphone, it will be of no use to us in the Netherlands – the high frequencies needed for mmWave 5G will not be auctioned until 2022. Only then will 5G become the ultra-fast internet we’ve all been waiting for.
Similar prices
Despite the many expected new features, the price of the iPhone 13 is said to remain almost the same as the price of the iPhone 12. This is mainly because the design of the iPhone 13 will also remain about the same. As a result, Apple does not have to spend millions on new production processes.
The iPhone 13 is expected to receive major camera updates, including portrait mode for videos. Apple’s new smartphone will also reportedly have a smaller notch and an always-on display.
