iPad Air will have the same design as iPad Pro, including dual camera
Apple kills two birds with one stone by bringing the design of the iPad Pro (2021) to the new iPad Air. Little will change with the upcoming iPad mini and regular iPad.

Design of new iPad Air resembles iPad Pro
That writes MacOtakara. The Japanese website has spoken to a source in Apple’s supply chain. This anonymous tipster says that the new iPad Air has about the same design as the brand new iPad Pro. So get ready for an industrial design with angular edges.
Also cool: the dual camera on the back would make the switch. The format doesn’t change much. The new iPad Air would again have a 10.9 inch screen, with the Touch ID fingerprint scanner in the power button on the side.
It is still unclear whether the new iPad Air will have a LiDAR scanner. This depth scanner is on the iPad Pro and can be used, for example, to make portrait photos more beautiful, or for augmented reality apps.
Under the hood of the new iPad Air is an A15 chip, the Japanese site claims. This processor will probably also come to the iPhone 13. It is still unclear when Apple will unveil the new iPad Air.

Gap year for iPad (mini)
The source also has new information about the regular iPad and compact iPad mini. According to the website, these tablets will receive a new version this year, but no major innovations. The iPad 2021 and iPad mini 2021 would only get a new processor, but resemble their predecessors in design.
Those claims are not in line with previous rumors. According to several sources, the new iPad mini will have a larger screen and the physical Touch ID button will disappear to the side. The regular iPad would also be thoroughly overhauled.
