iOS 15 is going to refresh your iPhone
Finally. Apple announced iOS 15 last week. The iPhone update will be released this fall and will bring major improvements.
Especially FaceTime, the Messages app and iPhone camera are improving. Also, your phone becomes less addictive thanks to Focus and you get more privacy. And best of all? iOS 15 is coming to all iPhones now running iOS 14.

watchOS 8 bets on health
watchOS 8 was also unveiled. The Apple Watch update of 2021 focuses – how could it be otherwise – on improving your health.
The Breathing app is making way for Mindfulness, new sports are coming to the Workout app, and the Apple Watch is getting a better sleep tracker. Also nice: watchOS 8 will soon be available for download on all Watches that can now handle watchOS 7.

macOS 12 makes multitasking easier
Do you have an iPad and Mac at home? Then macOS 12 (nickname Monterey) is a very nice update.
The new macOS version introduces Universal Control. It allows you to work on multiple Apple devices at the same time. For example, you can use your MacBook’s trackpad to control your iPad. Furthermore, macOS 12 also brings AirPlay to the Mac. Streaming just got so much easier.

European Commission to reprimand Apple
But, it wasn’t all roses and moons last week. Apple was also tapped on the fingers.
A European Union Commission of Inquiry finds that the company is bad for the smart home market. Apple would act as a gatekeeper, pushing small businesses out of the market. The final conclusion of the report will be published next year.

Facebook makes its own smartwatch
Competition for the Apple Watch on the way. Facebook also appears to be working on a smartwatch. And what kind.
According to rumors, the Facebook watch will have two cameras that you use to take photos and make video calls. Furthermore, the clock seems to get a heart rate monitor and you can of course WhatsApp with it. WhatsApp is a subsidiary of Facebook.

Are these the colors of iPhone 13 Pro?
In which colors can you buy the iPhone 13 Pro? According to a new rumor, this year’s best iPhone will come in five variants.
We already know most versions, but Apple would also add two new ‘flavors’: orange and dark gray. Another rumor previously predicted that the device will appear in white, blue and off-white. We’ll know for sure this fall, because then the iPhone 13 series will be announced.
