iOS 14.5, macOS 11.3 and watchOS 7.4: the public beta is available
- New customizations in Safari
- An iPhone / iPad application preference panel to define keys that replace a normally tactile action
- More sorting options in the Reminders app
- Support for PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers
- A revised tab for Apple News +
- A “Made for you” shortcut and live events from the “Listen” section in the Music application
If your iPhone or iPad is configured to receive public betas, go to Settings> General> Software update. You will be able to download the beta of iOS 14.5. If not, go to beta.apple.com, sign in with your Apple account, and follow the instructions.
On the Mac side, the beta can be recovered from System Preferences> Software Update. You can also register on beta.apple.com if your Mac is not in the public beta program.
Update Apple also offered the first public beta of watchOS 7.4 for the Apple Watch.
