That’s how you make it
If you don’t fideos (Fideua in Catalan), and chances are, break spaghetti into pieces about 5 centimeters long.
- Cut the chicken thighs in half on the thin part and season with a little of the paella seasoning and, if desired, with salt and pepper.
- Put a large (paella) pan on the fire with some olive oil and fry the chicken.
- When the chicken is golden brown, turn the heat to low and cook for a few more minutes. Then remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Cut the onion, garlic, chorizo, tomatoes and peppers into pieces and fry everything in the pan in which the chicken was fried.
- Add the prawns, and when they get colour, add the peas and pasta.
- Sprinkle in the paella spices, stir and add the water.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the fried chicken, stir well and finish with a slice of lemon and a little chopped parsley.
