How many times Mita has heard this sentence, she can no longer count. “I always thought it was a compliment when people said that to me,” she says.
I always smiled politely and thanked that person. But over the years I started to wonder why they called me that. Why am I so quickly labeled that I’m a great mom? ‘

From broom cupboard to car

The more she thought about it, the clearer it became to her. Mita: ‘People call me and others super mothers because we go back to work quickly after having a child. Our bodies and our babies are not ready for that yet, but if you take longer leave, you could lose your job. ‘
