A new update for the ING Banking app will be distributed via the Google Play Store. The new version of the application now offers you a number of improvements.
ING Banking with payment request icons
ING customers can download an update for the bank’s app of the same name. After installing the update, a message is displayed that the login screen has been refreshed. The orange color has (also here) made way for a white interface. However, it does not seem to be visible at the time of writing. This white interface previously appeared with mobile payments via NFC.
After the update you also have a faster insight into the payment requests you have made. The pictures immediately make it clear what a payment request is for. Think of payment for your pizza, a gift or your vacation. If the image is not available, you will see the default icon.
Furthermore, it is made easier in the ING Banking app to make international transfers, in a different currency. When transferring, you will see a globe at the top right. If you tap this you will be redirected to the (mobile) website and you can make an international payment. The advantage is that you no longer have to log in separately.
The update will now be rolled out via the Google Play Store.
