Hyrule Warriors, Splatoon 3, and Switch Online news – Nintendo Direct highlights

As part of the latest direct stream, Nintendo showed which games you can look forward to in the coming weeks and months. We have summarized the highlights for you.

Nintendo Direct had a few surprises in store

Nintendo has again published a lot of videos and information about games in the form of Nintendo Direct, which will soon be released for the Nintendo Switch. Some projects were already known, but there were also new pictures, release dates and announcements. We summarize the stream for you.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

With Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak You can expect an extensive, paid expansion package for Monster Hunter Rise in summer 2022. You want to discover new stories, locations, monsters, hunting actions and quest ranks.

Mario Party Superstars: On October 29, 2021, a new-old “Mario Party” game will be released with five maps from the N64 games.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a unique RPG from Square Enix with an enchanting story complete with playing cards. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2021.

In Disco Elysium: The Final Cut you take on the role of a detective with unique skills. Interrogate the residents of the city, solve murders and become a true hero. Available for Switch from October 12, 2021.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

at Guardian of Remembrance – Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is the second part of the Age of Calamity Expansion Pass, which will be released on October 29, 2021.

Chocobo GP is a must for “Final Fantasy” fans. Race your favorite characters from the series and, if you wish, play against 64 other players. Chocobo GP is expected to be released in 2022.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

The iconic pink puffball is back in a new 3D platformer adventure called Kirby and the Forgotten Land. From spring 2022 you will explore the mysterious world full of abandoned buildings of a bygone civilization together.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons gets new free content in November 2021. More information should follow in October.

Even Mario Golf: Super Rush has new free content for you starting today! You can look forward to new maps, the character Ninji and much more.

Star Wars: Knights of the Republic will test you. Do you use your lightsaber for the good or are you drawn to the dark side? You can find out on the Switch from November 11, 2021.

Metroid Dread

On the planet ZDR you will meet in Metroid Dread on unstoppable machines and on already known opponents. The game is expected to be available for Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human

The virus was fought and lost 20 years ago. You slip into Dying Light 2 into the role of a wanderer with the power to change the city. Choose a side and determine your fate. Available on Nintendo Switch on February 4, 2021. If you want to test the game beforehand, a free demo is available from the same day.

The Platinum Edition will be released on October 19th and can already be pre-ordered.

Splatoon 3

The fast-paced fun with the colorful ink continues. Details are still unclear, but the new weapons from Splatoon 3 the multiplayer turf wars are sure to intensify. How much, you will probably find out on the Nintendo Switch in 2022.

But that’s not all for the Switch. You can also look forward to games like Disney Magical World 2, Castlevania Advanced Collection, Hot Wheels, Surviving the Aftermath, Wreckfest, Rune Factory, Bayonetta 3 and more games happy – the next few months will not be boring.

New “Switch Online” service and controller announced

The Nintendo service Switch Online will receive an Expansion Pack at the end of October. This not only enables you to play 25-year-old N64 games, you can also play them with up to three other players. If you are a fan of SEGA, you can also look forward to numerous games from the iconic Genesis system. The price for this service is not yet known, more information will follow shortly.

In order to play the games in proper style, Nintendo announced today surprisingly two new controllers based on the originals of the Nintendo 64 and the SEGA Genesis. You can even move around freely with them, because for 49.99 US dollars (probably 49.99 euros), you can even get them without the hassle of cables. More information will follow.
