Huawei P50 with huge wide-angle lens and HarmonyOS coming in July

In July we can expect a new smartphone from Huawei. It’s about the long-awaited Huawei P50. More is now known about the smartphone, including the presence of HarmonyOS.

Huawei P50 coming in July

We have been waiting for the new high-end smartphone from Huawei for a long time. Now there finally seems to be more clear about the Huawei P50 series. Earlier it became clear that the release had been postponed (several times). The manufacturer has now revealed in a binary code the date when the date appeared; July 29. On that day we will get to know the new Huawei P50 series. This is expected to consist of the Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro and the Pro+.

It is striking that a Chinese source talks about the announcement of 4G models. This is due to the scarce stock of 5G chips. This is again linked to US sanctions. Although it seems stiff to us that Huawei does not present a 5G version of a model. Huawei will also provide the smartphones with its own HarmonyOS.

What we do know is that Huawei provides the P50 with a large wide-angle lens. A teaser of the device was already shared during a previous HarmonyOS event. Huawei is said to use a 1/1.18-inch sensor for the wide-angle lens. Another rumor speaks of a waterfall screen for the Pro models and a slight curve on the P50.

Incidentally, it is still the question whether Huawei will also release the device in Europe, or whether it will be a China-only event. Due to the loss of support for Google services, the popularity of Huawei devices has plummeted.
