Huawei showed a range of new products and things at its own event. For example, we are introduced to the Huawei FreeBuds 4 and we see a teaser of the new Huawei P50 series.

Huawei FreeBuds 4

Huawei already presented the new Huawei Watch 3 series at its own event and now we see a new product from the manufacturer. It is a new generation headset; the Huawei FreeBuds 4, which should again appear in three colors this time. In addition to white and black, you can also choose from red. The headset offers active noise cancellation (ANC), and has a weight of only 4.1 grams per earbud.

The sound should automatically adjust to your own hearing. According to Huawei, the headset can detect the shape of the ear canal and thus optimize the sound. For even better sound, the audio drivers are even bigger; and have a size of 14.3 millimeters. The bass has also been improved and is 15 percent stronger. The FreeBuds 4 can be used for four hours on a single battery charge. With the charging case, this can be extended to 22 hours of listening time. With 15 minutes of charging, you have 2.5 hours of playing time again. Of course you can again use gestures on every headset for, for example, pausing the music or lowering the volume.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 come to the Netherlands for 149.99 euros. You can pre-order them directly through the official Huawei Store. You will then receive an extra 20 euros discount.

Huawei has also shared a teaser of the new Huawei P50 series. In fact, it was already the idea that this smartphone was announced much earlier, but we are still waiting for the announcement of the new model. Much has already been leaked about the new smartphone series. The two large camera modules are striking. According to Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei, the phone has an iconic design and takes photography to the next level.

In its own words, Huawei is now looking at how the great product will become available, the manufacturer says. This means that a new date is still unknown. The reason for the delay is unknown. It is obvious that the American sanctions are to blame for this. It may well be that there is hassle around the processor of the device.

Given that the Huawei P50 appears without Google Play Services, it remains to be seen whether Huawei chooses to release the device in the Netherlands. If more is known about this, we will of course keep you informed.
