These are so good that sometimes it doesn’t even pay to turn on night mode.
The ultra-wide-angle sensor has also been improved. The one in the previous P40 Pro offered a higher resolution – 40 MP optori 20 MP, but the novelty has a better brightness, which will greatly help photos at night. And they are really better. However, there is also a problem with the new lens. It can’t focus at as short a distance as the P40 Pro, so macro photos aren’t as stunning. However, they are still very good.

The specialty is a periscope lens, which offers up to five times the optical zoom and very good optical image stabilization. The brightness is a little worse, which is reflected in the night photos. However, even these are not bad. In good lighting, a five-magnification photo uses a periscope lens. However, in poor lighting conditions, the device forces the user to use the main sensor up to 10x zoom. Only then does it switch to telephoto. Huawei knows that digitally zoomed photos in the evening will still be better than those from a periscope lens. It’s smart, but I’d take the opportunity to change it.
The ultra-wide-angle lens is primarily intended for video. It creates a very nice video and the angle of view, which is not standard, is especially breathtaking. It looks really good. However, care must be taken to stabilize the image, which cannot be compared with the video from the main sensor.
