404 error often occurs when the permalink is not set. The permalink is either damaged or changed. One of the most common causes of woo commerce 404 errors is when the htaccess file has been tampered with or modified. In this article I will show you how to fix woo commerce 404 error Product Page.
I am assuming that you are using the Woocommerce plugin.

A change to the htaccess file. If you’ve renamed the htaccess file to something else, e.g. htaccess-old.

Navigate to your WordPress Settings >>> Permalinks

Under general settings. Choose Post Name

Within the options menu, enter the following in the field
Product category Base ——- / shop
Product tag Base ————- product tag

You have now set the Base Page product category to Shop. The product permalink base should now be set.
Under Option you will see Product Permalink Base.
Select the Custom Base tab and place this in it

Click Save Changes!!!

Now reload the page and you shouldn’t see a 404, the page cannot be found error.
