There you will see the option of “Linked Account”, tap on it and choose Facebook.
Next, click the check mark next to Facebook in case you are using an Android device, while those who have an iPhone have to click Facebook and then tap Unlink.
Your Facebook will then be decoupled from Instagram.

Steps To Remove Instagram From Facebook Completely:

First, log into your Facebook account.
Then click on the gear icon and follow the path Menu> Account Settings> App.
There you will see several apps that you have given permission for the Facebook account. There, look for Instagram.
When you find it, hit the “Edit” button and it will show the menu option where you need to tap on the “Remove App” option.
It is also safe to delete all your past Instagram activity from Facebook, which you do by checking the box next to it and then tapping the “Remove” button.
